Producers

Jean-Marie RAVENEAU is as modest as his wines are great! He is, along with Vincent DAUVISSAT, the flag-bearer of this appellation… All the wines here are truly excellent and age beautifully, with an elegance and with good concentration.

There is no village appellation, just some premiers crus: Butteaux, Forêt, Chapelots, Montmains, Vaillons and Montée de Tonnerre. What a range!

And three grands crus: VALMUR, BLANCHOTS and LES CLOS. All these wines age perfectly to express the finesse and minerality of the terroir they originate from.

Several times a year, we write and send off a “newsletter” that presents our latest acquisitions, with a comment for each wine, glass in hand (or cask when this was not possible), as well as an organoleptic analysis and sensory description.
