Georges ROUMIER Domaine

Here we have another world-famous family domaine “par excellence” – in every sense of the word! Having followed on from Georges and Jean-Marie, it is now Christophe ROUMIER who is in charge of the family business, assisted by his brilliant sister, Delphine.

The wines are always fresh and perfectly delicate with dazzling fruity aromas, not to mention their ability to age beautifully.

The price of this success is that it is very difficult to get hold of the full range of wines, but you certainly won’t forget those that you do get to taste… Note that the BONNES MARES are the epitome of what this appellation is about!

The CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY is sumptuous and remarkably full-bodied, whilst the CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY 1er cru “les Cras” always has incredible finesse. The Si le MOREY ST DENIS 1er cru “Clos de la Bussière” (Monopole) has some devoted admirers, and the CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY 1er cru “Amoureuses” is superbly refined, but sadly very rare…

The Grands Crus, whether it’s the BONNES MARES, RUCHOTTES CHAMBERTIN, CHARMES CHAMBERTIN, CORTON CHARLEMAGNE or the extremely rare MUSIGNY, are all of an exceptionally high quality.
